Our mission is simple: to leave our community better than we found it, to give a high five and killer hair to every woman we meet, to continue building this bond our team holds, everyday!
We're all about kindness. Kindness to ourselves, to our team, our community, and our industry. We're located right in Hoboken, NJ! We believe in healthy hair, a truly healthy environment, and that every single guest that enters our salon deserves to feel right at home.

CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE GREEN SALON
Lorraine’s House of Styles is recognized in the local community as an option for the health conscious salon guest and environmentally friendly practices.
We re-purpose hair for oil spill clean up and manufacturing of bio-plastic. We recycle colour tubes and used foils. We turn hair color by-product into new sources of energy.

LORRAINE’S HOUSE OF STYLES
At the age of 27, with just 2 styling chairs Lorraine opened the doors of Lorraine’s House of Styles in her beloved hometown - Hoboken - and never looked back.
Lorraine was learning the ropes as a business owner and honing her craft, but as the years passed, she was hungry for more…

CERTIFIED REDKEN EDUCATOR
Lorraine’s expertise spans all aspects of beauty, fashion, hair and makeup and was called upon by Redken USA to lend her skills to their educational program. As a Certified Redken Educator, Lorraine tranformed her salon into a teaching salon where other associates learn how to hone their skills in color, corrective color, creative color, cut and styling.

The story of Lorraine Fred, proprietor, begins with her expertise in personal styling that extends back to the launch of her career. It’s no surprise her hard working, tenacious, and creative personality earned her a following.
